​​​The Town of Lincklaen was founded in 1823 and is located in the heart of Central New York, with a population of 362 (2020 Census).  You will find Lincklaen in the Northwestern corner of Chenango County, nestled in pristine rolling hills covering a total area of 26.6 square miles (17,024 acres). Both DeRuyter Central School District and Otselic Valley School District serves the Town of Lincklaen. The Town of Lincklaen borders Madison County to the north and Cortland County to the west.   Lincklaen is centrally located where either Cortland, Syracuse or Norwich is only a 30 to 45 minute drive away.
