TOWN OF LINCKLAEN LEGAL TAX COLLECTOR'S NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that I have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Lincklaen for the year 2025. Taxes may be paid without interest on or before January 31, 2025. Beginning February 1, 2025, a 1% interest rate will be added each month until the return of unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer’s Office on June 1, 2025, pursuant to law. Taxes can be paid via mail: Attention Tax Collector, 568 Union Valley Rd, Pitcher, NY 13136, Check payments can also be dropped during closed hours in the dropbox on side of building. Cash payments can only be paid in person during office hours: Mondays & Thursdays 4 pm – 6 pm (all year) and Saturdays 8 am - Noon (Jan & Feb only) . Town of Lincklaen is accepting bids for CEMETERY GROUNDSKEEPER. This contract will involve the following 3 cemeteries Woodlawn, Lincklaen Center, Rhode Island and the Town Hall. The responsibilities will include: mowing grass (no more than 3 times/month unless agreed upon); weed whacking around headstones and other areas not accessible via lawn mower; removing litter, debris and leaves from tombstones and cemetery grounds; pruning trees; reseeding grass when needed (cost of supplies reimbursed by town), making sure that headstones and markers are clear and upright; general landscaping maintenance; the cutting & removal of fallen trees – the (extra) price of which will be negotiated with the Town Board prior to each tree cutting. Will need to supply a copy of liability insurance. Bids are to list the cost per mowing for each cemetery and Town Hall separately. Bids to be submitted to the Town Clerk no later than 11am Tuesday, April 15, 2025. 568 Union Valley Rd, Pitcher, NY 13136. Call 315-852-1193 with questions.
